Collegiate Housing Foundation is pleased to announce that Kara Lee Partin has joined its staff as Vice President of Compliance effective July 13, 2026. Kara Lee has decades of experience managing risk, overseeing multi-million-dollar portfolios and managing complex client relationships from her time working in the corporate trust departments at Bank of New York, Regions Bank, Wilmington Trust and most recently, BOK Financial. Kara Lee earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in finance from The University of Alabama at Birmingham as well as a Master of Business Administration from Samford University.
Throughout her career, Kara Lee’s success has been built upon developing and maintaining strong relationships, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance. Her primary duties at the Foundation will be to assist the President and the Foundation’s Executive Vice President for Project Operations in monitoring and performing CHF’s post-issuance compliance obligations and overseeing compliance by the counterparties to the many agreements into which the Foundation has entered.
According to Will Givhan, President of Collegiate Housing Foundation, “With Lyn Cone having taken on new responsibilities as Executive Vice President of Project Operations and with the tremendous growth of the Foundation’s portfolio in recent years, it became critical that the Foundation bring in an experienced hand that could help the Foundation meet its compliance obligations and with her extensive experience as the trust officer for many of the Foundation’s projects over several years, Kara Lee was the perfect fit.”
